Our mission as a Christian ministry is to provide disaster relief and community support to individuals and families affected by disaster, trauma, or hardships. Through the coordination of dedicated volunteers, the distribution of essential supplies, emotional and spiritual care, and community rebuilding efforts, Battles to Blessings exemplifies Faith in Action during some of the darkest moments faced by communities and people. We don't stop there; as a nonprofit organization, we continue to restore Hope through long-term rebuilding efforts.

ROSS FIRES - DONATIONS

BLANKET CAMPAIGN
Ongoing campaign - Our Christian ministry is dedicated to making double lined fleece no-sew (tab) blankets for those in need. These blankets are incredibly warm and provide comfort to individuals battling cancer, those who have lost everything in a disaster, or anyone needing warmth infused with love through these handmade blankets.
The fleece we purchase is a heavy anti-pill fleece designed to endure years of use and washings. We prioritize sourcing materials Made in the USA to support our fellow countrymen. Each assembled blanket measures approximately 5W x 5-6'L, or up to 7' long, and costs us $35 per blanket.
Recipients facing cancer have shared their appreciation for the warmth these blankets provide, particularly the 7' long versions, which offer complete coverage. Additionally, other recipients from shelters have told us they still cherish them after more than 10 years.
Our nonprofit organization is also proud to have volunteers who help in this vital initiative, and we've even heard how the dogs and cats approve!
NEW DECK BUILD- completed May 2026
Nearly two years after the May 2024 tornado struck Valley View, TX, many families are still grappling with the aftermath through disaster relief efforts. Some, like an elderly couple close to my heart, are still picking up the pieces.
Their deck and stairs are dangerously rotting, with boards lifting and creating a significant hazard. What should be a safe way in and out of their home has become unstable and unsafe.
This sweet couple is in urgent need of a new deck and stairs, and as part of our Christian ministry, we need your help to make this happen. Donations are essential for purchasing the materials required so they can once again have a safe entrance to their home. This cause is about more than just lumber and nails—it's about protecting two beloved individuals, preserving their dignity, and reminding them they are not alone.
Please consider giving, sharing, and assisting our nonprofit organization in meeting this urgent need as quickly as possible. Every donation, regardless of the amount, will truly make a difference.

RESILIENCY KITS
When disaster strikes, families affected by the devastation lose more than their homes—they lose their place of comfort, gathering, and hope. Your gift to our Christian ministry supports efforts in disaster relief and helps rebuild their table—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
A donation of any amount will go towards preparing a "seat" at the Table of Hope through our nonprofit organization.
Here are some suggestions:
$25.00 - "Seat of Comfort" Hygienic & Comfort Kit that includes a toothbrush, toothpaste, bar of soap, washcloth, a bottle of water, shampoo/bodywash, brush, deodorant, tissues, toilet paper, and a reusable bag.
$50.00 - "Seat of Healing" includes the Hygiene & Comfort Kit plus disinfectant wipes, a first-aid kit, female hygiene products, and a prayer booklet/scripture/messages of support.
$100.00 - "Seat of Strength" comprises cleanup and rebuilding supplies containing items like paper towels, gloves, trash bags, disinfectant/bleach, sponges, masks, a utility knife, and a 5-gallon bucket with lid.
The larger the donation, the more "seats" you'll fill around the Table with the help of dedicated volunteers.
